Hi, my classmates!

About me

Hi, this is Chun-Wei Lin. My English name is Bill to make
it easy for English speaker to address me. According to the political ideology
quiz, my ideology is next generation left, even though I do not know what it
really means. My political influence is mainly from my home country, Taiwan. As
a country that China has been trying to invade, we have many political issues
with China. As a citizenship in Taiwan, I voted several times and I also joined
several demonstrations to protest against some of the policies of the
government located in Taiwan.
I am taking this class mainly because I need to the
credit for my bachelor degree and I hope I will have a better idea about U.S.
government and what the current issues people talk about these days, other than
the presidential election.
As an immigrant moving to U.S. two years ago, I do not
know much about U.S. government. I only got 70% in the Civic Literacy test, and
I horrendously got 6 out of 12 questions correct in the Current Event quizzes.
